Where do I even begin to describe our 13+ year journey? I met you when I was just 10 years old, and having you in my life has been nothing short of an incredible experience.

Ms. Janet, if God gives someone the privilege of knowing you, they should cherish and keep you close. You provide both comfort and honesty, and your rawness is unmatched. Your loving, motherly nature—coupled with a true judgment-free zone—has brought clarity to so many situations in my life. Through my trials, you’ve offered me a space where I can be vulnerable, where I can acknowledge my mistakes without fear, knowing I am still seen and loved.

I honestly don’t know what Jahlea would be without you. You have been my biggest fan—even when you were the only one cheering in the crowd.

It is such an honor to be one of your spiritual daughters, and I will never be able to express my full gratitude for all that you’ve taught me. You have shown me what beauty from ashes truly looks like. You have demonstrated internal beauty—something many lack, but you embody so effortlessly.
